In the heart of the port town of Invergordon sits Invergordon Gallery, one of a kind in the Scottish Highlands, in that we specialise in showing and selling the best of Scottish landscape art and photography.

We have on display some of the finest work of both Scotland's foremost mountain photographer and painter.

In the northern Scottish Highlands we can be so privileged to witness the most incredible variety of visual light effect on our exquisite scenery, dream scenarios for our finest landscape and seascape artists and photographers, rarely is this more vividly witnessed than when the 'mirrie dancers' decide to take to the stage ...

Of course this is reference to the rare and most unpredictable natural phenomenon that is the Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, which when they do decide to make an appearance will always leave anyone fortunate enough to witness them awestruck by their natural beauty.

Many would suggest that few places can the Aurora be better witnessed than highlighting a Scottish Highland nightscape, and in Invergordon Gallery we are extremely privileged to show and sell work from one of the finest exponents of night sky photography.

Art and photography pieces in the shop can be bought in a number of formats, rolled or mounted prints, or fully framed, and they come in a full spectrum of sizes.

We also stock an extensive range of photo and art greetings and occasional cards, hand crafted framed items, and a range of fine scented glass tumbler candles and diffusers.

The port of Invergordon on the northeast coast of the Scottish Highland mainland is now Scotland's busiest cruise port, in terms of visitor numbers, with this in mind Invergordon Gallery stocks a range of images of many of the locations and major attractions frequently visited by increasing numbers of visitors that choose to visit locations such as the small Scottish Highland capital city of Inverness, Loch Ness, Cawdor Castle, the historic town of Dornoch, and majestic Dunrobin Castle on a shore excursion such as those on offer from Invergordon Bus Tours

A warm Scottish Highland welcome awaits ...
